G-Cues
New Kid On The Block...
What are G-Cues?
G-Cues are 100% hand made by Gavin Mengham, the G-Man, who has over ten years cue making experience.
They will only be available as and when he finds time to make them, and are not available to pre-order. So, you will need to keep an eye on the shop if you are interested in owning one of these cues.
Although Gavin is in sole control of his own cues and designs, they benefit greatly from the knowledge gained over many years working alongside myself, and my help/advice is always at hand when he needs it.
So, you can rest assured that attention to detail and the desire to produce a great playing cue is as important to Gavin as it has always been to me.
Key Features
English Ash shafts have been chosen for a more 'old school' look and feel, with interesting grain patterns and an altogether more 'flexible' feel than many commonly used North American Ash shafts.
So, do not expect 'even arrows' or a 'too stiff' shaft. These are simply great playing cues, made to feel good, with a lovely 'touch'.
Butt woods are chosen from my personal stock, matured and stored for over 25 years, and each piece is selected for unusual or interesting patterns.
100% Hand Made
Shafts are hand planed for maximum stability and butts are hand spliced for a traditional look and feel.
Authenticity
Each G-Cue comes with an engraved and numbered nameplate, confirming it's authenticity and making it a highly collectable item.
Options
Butts are available with the superb F-1 joint to accept F1 extensions, or with a rounded wooden end cap.
Playability
Standard brass ferrules are fitted and topped of with an Original SuperTip for outstanding response and feel.
Ordering
You cannot pre-order a G-Cue. You can only choose from whatever is available.
The reason for this is that he is free to pick and choose the butt woods and designs he uses. In other words, free from the constraints of customer demands. An altogether more relaxing and fulfilling way to make cues...
The resulting cues are therefore very unique, and you are highly unlikely to see someone else with 'your' cue.
However, you are welcome to express an interest in a design you may have seen and possibly he will make another on which you will have first refusal if you have registered an interest.
To see available G-Cues, please check in the shop.
Contact
The G-Man is on Facebook and is more than happy to chat and welcomes interaction on an informal level, but he will not discuss orders, designs or prices.
If you wish to purchase a cue or discuss prices, you must contact me and leave Gav to do what he does best, just make cues.
